Firefox 1.5 is the next version of our award-winning Web browser.

Here’s what’s new in Firefox 1.5:

to streamline product upgrades. Notification of an update is more
prominent, and updates to Firefox may now be half a megabyte or
smaller. Updating extensions has also improved.
  • Faster browser navigation with improvements to back and forward button performance.
  • Drag and drop reordering for browser tabs.
  • Improvements to popup blocking.
  • Clear Private Data feature provides an easy way to quickly remove personal data through a menu item or keyboard shortcut.
  • Answers.com is added to the search engine list.
  • Improvements to product usability including descriptive error pages, redesigned options menu, RSS discovery, and “Safe Mode” experience.
  • Better accessibility including support for DHTML accessibility and assistive technologies such as the Window-Eyes 5.5 beta screen reader

for Microsoft Windows. Screen readers read aloud all available
information in applications and documents or show the information on a Braille display, enabling blind and visually impaired users to use equivalent software functionality as their sighted peers.

  • Report a broken Web site wizard to report Web sites that are not working in Firefox.
  • Better support for Mac OS X (10.2 and greater) including profile migration from Safari and Mac Internet Explorer.
  • New support for Web Standards including SVG, CSS 2 and CSS 3, and JavaScript 1.6.
  • Many security enhancements.

Since getting the xbox 360, I’ve had it hooked up to my old 27″ RCA
standard def TV. I believe the TV model is an RCA Crapola.

So I undertook to hook it up to a computer monitor (a 21″ Samtron) where at least I could get some decent resolution.

I took the cable that came with the Xbox360 and spliced it to an old VGA extender cable I had laying around.

here’s the pic of the Xbox360 pinouts:

(note: my photoshop skills sucketh)

armed with the the pinouts, you can easily connect the Xbox360 the your computer monitor.

Hope you all get a 360 in your stockings Tuesday morning.br>

Ultimate Boot CD (UBCD) Every sysadmin and wannabe needs this cd to save your ass one day.

Ultimate Boot CD is completely free for the download, or could be obtained for a small fee. If you had somehow paid a ridiculous amount of money for it, you have most likely been fleeced. The least you could do is to make as many copies of the offical UBCD and pass it to your friends, relatives, colleagues or even complete strangers to minimize the per unit cost of your loss!

screenshot_small.gif

You need the Ultimate Boot CD if you want to:

* Run floppy-based diagnostic tools from CDROM drives. More and more PCs are shipped without floppy drives these days, and it is such a royal pain when you need to run diagnostic tools on them.

* Free yourself from the slow loading speed of the floppy drive. Even if you do have a floppy drive, it is still much much faster to run your diagnostic tools from the CDROM drive, rather than wait for the tool to load from the floppy drive.

* Consolidate as many diagnostic tools as possible into one bootable CD. Wouldn’t you like to avoid digging into the dusty box to look for the right floppy disk, but simply run them all from a single CD? Then the Ultimate Boot CD is for you!

When you boot up from the CD, a text-based menu will be displayed, and you will be able to select the tool you want to run. The selected tool actually boots off a virtual floppy disk created in memory.

Mirrors for downloads and whats in the boot cd’s are below:
